We have handled Superfund cases in West Virginia and many other jurisdictions, and have worked with other state and federal agencies, including the Army Corps of Engineers on wetlands and permitting issues.

Our attorneys have an enviable record of success in defending manufacturers in a wide variety of legal action. Our asbestos defense practice is one of the largest in the state. We have successfully defended a large refiner in a statewide class action alleging damage to underground storage tanks. Robinson & McElwee attorneys regularly defend manufacturers in intentional tort actions brought by their employees. Tax litigation is another area of emphasis, one in which we have successfully defended manufacturers and others in a variety of disputes with the West Virginia revenue authorities.
