While Mr. Russo has particular experience in labor and employment litigation, he is also experienced in complex litigation, including defense of high risk cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, and “deliberate intent” suits arising in industrial settings. Additionally, as a former Assistant Attorney General in the West Virginia Attorneys General Antitrust Division, Mr. Russo has in-depth experience in class actions and related litigation.

  • Experience in complex litigation involving environmental and regulatory issues, administrative trials, and litigation before a variety of state and federal administrative agencies.
  • Administrative practice including employment-related arbitration, and litigation in various state and federal forums, including the National Labor Relations Board, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, United States Department of Labor (Federal Black Lung), and the West Virginia Human Rights Commission.
  • Counseling of clients in a wide range of employment-related matters, including state and federal legislation, labor agreement negotiations, unions organizational campaigns, and strike planning.
