Library Resources

Robinson & McElwee’s legal library and resources meet the research needs of our lawyers and clients. The Robinson & McElwee library resources are managed by an experienced research librarian. We are proud of our library, which is regularly used by our attorneys and staff. We retain an extensive in-house print collection, which includes the United States Code Service, Code of Federal Regulations, United States Supreme Court Reports, American Jurisprudence, Federal Reporter, West Virginia Code, West Virginia Code of State Rules, South East Regional Reporter, Michie’s Jurisprudence, Virginia & West Virginia Digest, and numerous specialized publications.

In addition, our library provides access to the following online legal research services: Westlaw, Lexis, PACER Service Center, WV Circuit Express, and HeinOnline. These services provide an important added point of access to legal authorities and other resources. The firm also provides a topical list of legal resources and other informational links accessed via this website. The topical pages are select daily news resources, federal legal resources, West Virginia legal resources, a variety of specific practice area research links, general research resources, and associations & organizations. Our extensive online resources compliment our library’s print collection and provide “one stop shopping” for all legal research projects. Robinson & McElwee’s library is a valuable firm asset.
